In complete silence she stood. The room was pitch black, but it didn’t bother her. It was relaxing, a bit scary thought, but relaxing. She could hear the rain in between the music she was listening to for the 10th time in a row. It felt peaceful, the single fact that there was no need to change the music made it so much better. It meant that there was no need to set up the mood, to search for emotions, she felt. Lying in bed, too easy to move, she dreamed. Her world was shattered by the phone’s ring. She slowly leaned forward to grab her phone. At the same pace she put the phone to her ear. A mellow “Hi” echoed in her ear. She knew who it was by the pound of her heart. There was not much needed, she already reacted.
